Our teaching method is totally different from any other pedagogical method. We train our players to become more flexible and better problem solvers, which makes them more able to adjust to any difficulties in life and to deal with change as well as to take advantage of new opportunities on and off the court.

"Play Bruguera” is a philosophy that makes one improve, save energy, keeps one healthy, and builds quality personalities. "Play Bruguera” has a unique feeling to it, a practical way of playing and performing at one’s best.

What we do in our program selection is to pick different sorts of programs our players all need to learn in order to be able “to play”, and break them down to make them as simple as possible. Along the way, there will be plenty of clear instructions, a step-by-step learning process and certifications. Whether one is a confirmed elite player or a complete beginner, allowing anyone to enjoy playing and achieve great results on and off the court.

For instance, we believe that control is one of the most essential skills that every single person should have in order to look after themselves, their families and their friends. Control of the body, technique, thoughts and emotions are a few examples of how we define play Bruguera in a holistic way.

"Play Bruguera” will make practical tennis education a compulsory part of Bruguera Tennis Academy’s curriculum across Hong Kong.

This type of program selection is for new-comers, advanced, educated and semi-professional players learning how to "play Bruguera” in each sense of the word. Then, our players pass on what they learn to their friends, families, opponents, doubles partners, etc. If enough people join the movement, pretty soon everyone will be playing “Bruguera”.

At Bruguera Tennis Academy we make things simple.

Luis Bruguera, founder of Bruguera Tennis Academy, developed his own “ sistema” (system) which has had a profound influence on the trajectory of Spanish Tennis for the last 30 years.

Bruguera Tennis Academy “Sistema” offers a unique angle to teach different ages and standards, it implies guided discovery methods, instinctive and practical forms of coaching.

At Bruguera Tennis Academy, we don’t want players to think, but to feel. We believe in a holistic approach to training in which all aspects of a player’s life are guided to ensure success. At Bruguera Tennis Academy, we build individuals. We prefer to show kids that they can perform everything instinctively, rather than telling them how they need to play. We nurture instincts and develop the automation of play.
